Most amazing team here!, Beautiful centre with large outdoor play area, large established trees for shade. Kindercare Spreydon is such a warm, home-like environment and the teachers have nurtured my child and our family with such care. Would absolutely recommend!

We couldn’t recommend Kindercare Strickland Street more highly! All of the teachers are lovely, and really care about the kids. It is a relatively small daycare, spread across 3 classrooms, which means none of the classrooms feel too crowded. The outdoor play areas are also spacious with nice mature trees. Our eldest child has recently left to go to school after 4 years there, and we have been really impressed at how well she was prepared for school. The classroom for the 3.5-4 years olds incorporates a lot of learning through fun activities. Over the last year they also have been on several class trips to places like Ferrymead (after learning about ‘the olden days’), and Orana Park (after learning about ‘wild animals’).

I’ve been with Kindercare Strickland Street for nearly 7 years, and it has been such a special part of our lives. My youngest started here at only 6 months old, and she absolutely loved it from the very beginning. The teachers are so caring, supportive, and dedicated — they’ve created such a nurturing environment where my children have grown, learned, and thrived. It’s more than just a preschool; it’s a place where the staff truly become part of your extended family. The communication, kindness, and patience shown over the years has been outstanding, and I know my children have always been in safe and loving hands. We will miss the amazing team here so much. I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done for our family, and I couldn’t recommend Kindercare Strickland Street more highly.

I can’t say enough good things about this daycare! My family has been with them for several years now. The teachers are absolutely amazing warm, caring, and dedicated. They’ve created such a safe and nurturing environment where both of my daughters have felt happy, supported, and excited to learn and grow. It truly feels like a second home. Leonie, the centre director, is incredibly kind, approachable, and always willing to listen, her leadership truly sets the tone for the caring and supportive atmosphere at the centre. Over the years, I’ve seen how much attention and love they give to each child, and the positive impact it has made in my daughters’ development emotionally, socially, and academically. I’ve always had peace of mind knowing they are in good hands. I’m incredibly grateful for everything the staff has done for my kids, and I would highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a caring, trustworthy, and supportive place for their child.

Our son Larry has had the best experience at Kindercare with warm teachers and staff. They help give families flexibility and teach the children so many helpful skills they need in the world. Larry is very well prepared for school after a year of amazing topics and opportunities. Couldn't fault the centre and recommend highly.

We would highly recommend Kindercare to any family. My son has recently commenced school after leaving kindercare. The transition to school program exceeded all my expectations and he was so well prepared for this move. My daughter has recently transitioned from the youngest room to the toddler room so I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know all teachers across the center and all have been so caring and supportive of my daughter as an individual. We are extremely grateful to the staff at Kindercare.

My son started at Kindercare Strickland St preschool when he was just 9 months old, and now he's getting ready to begin his primary school journey. As a young mum finding my way, I’ve felt completely supported by the incredible teachers and Leonie, the centre manager right from day one. When my son went through patches of challenging behaviour, the team worked with me to create a plan—and together, we turned everything around. Luca absolutely loves going to preschool every day and adores his teachers. It's so clear that they genuinely care about all the kids, their development, and love to see them thrive. As a parent who does not leave my child with just anyone, It is so nice to be able to drop him off every day knowing he is in the best hands. It’s also such a relief to know that he's happy, learning, and well cared for. It has also been such a bonus that I don’t have to worry about meals because there’s an onsite chef preparing healthy food every day that the kids love! This centre has been a huge part of our lives, the teachers and Leonie the centre manager are interested in getting to know all the families and it's been so nice to feel so connected to everyone there. I’m so grateful for the role they’ve played in Luca’s early years. I can’t recommend them enough and we are truly so sad to be leaving.

I want to convey my extreme gratitude for everything Kindercare Spreydon teachers (Kiwi room) have done as a consoler, friend, teacher, and a laughing companion for our little bundle of joy. Honestly, it is immensely comforting for us to know that our son is receiving such a thoughtful care and guidance everyday. We cannot thank you enough for your commitment to our child's development. Knowing our child is in such good hands everyday is a blessing. Thank you for all your handwork, patience, and wisdom! And thank you for allowing us to feel completely confident about our choice of childcare centre.

The team at kindercare spreydon are exemplary. There is a nice split between age groups that ensures each child is invested in. Having impressive teacher to child ratios. The management is excellent in their communication. The teaches deeply care, work hard to nurture and develop your child, working on characteristics that are important to you. Nearing the end they do excellent work to support school preparation, an excellent place to send your child.

I went there today and the staff was super friendly and welcoming, the vibe of the center is so homey ❤️
